Notions of ‘experience’ in a high performing primary school: implications for practice, policy and research development

This article discusses one of the most pervasive and taken-for-granted concepts in professional practice – ‘experience’ that we arguably all seek, enable others to develop, use make a case for hiring or firing employees with potential implications on performance educational organisations. Yet, it remains under-researched fields study.In response, develops literature-based framework ‘experience retrospect prospect’ grounded John Dewey’s theorisation experience. These theoretical mechanisms are used retroductively inform analysis study data from high performing primary school (Rising Star -RS) low local authority (WEB) North England.This shows is (can be) understood applied differently: as reliant past (retrospect), future (prospect) learning, both neither.
